Many business owners are unsure about what to expect when they contact a website design and development company. Inspired 2 Design strives to eliminate uncertainty and let you know what to expect once you Contact Us to discuss your website design project.

Our 7 Step Website Development Process not only serves as the baseline for creating a custom website, but assures our clients that their website project will be completed on time and on budget.

Step 1: Your Initial Call

Whether you initially make contact with Inspired 2 Design by phone or email, you can rest assured that one of our company’s owners will respond. Our years of expertise are immediately put to work as we gather information about your business and your website goals. If it appears that we can be of service to you, we will delve further into your specific project, asking about your current marketing (if any), and your budget, we will take your contact information and promise send a free PROJECT PLAN via email.

Step 2: Project Plan

Using your list of goals and objectives, we create a comprehensive overview of the website we can develop to accomplish your business goals. We call this document a Project Plan. This document is a customized proposal which includes details about your brand and your target market, your site configuration and features, any additional functionality you may want to add, pricing, production timeline, and our standard agreement. This document is emailed to you in PDF format.

Step 3: Engagement

Once you have reviewed your Project Plan, we are happy to answer any questions by phone, email, or if you’re in the Cherokee/Pickens/Gilmer county area, in person. When you choose to work with Inspired 2 Design you sign the agreement attached to your Project Plan, and pay a 50% deposit for the work quoted in it. We ask half of the agreed upon fee at this time. The second half of the fee will be due upon final approval of the website prior to publishing live on the Internet.

Step 4: Information Gathering

Once you engage Inspired 2 Design, we get to work. We will help you gather the information needed to complete your website and will assist you in obtaining any elements you need but do not have (such as stock photography, logos, links). We have designed our process to make gathering site content easier on you as a business owner. Once content is received, our design team goes to work laying out your unique and original website design which is sent to you for review, comments, and ultimately approval.

Step 5: Implementation

We send you a link to a functional test version of your website. You’re invited to make any necessary changes to the content on each of the pages at this time. During this step, we will also review the mechanics of the site to ensure that you are confident in executing it. Upon approval, this is when your final payment is made.

Step 6: Publishing Your Website

After your final approval and payment, we publish your website to the Internet. At this time we will also supply you with a unique user account for making future updates to the content of your site, or to post articles, news, etc. Once the site is up and running, we will complete any Search Engine Optimization you’ve ordered with your new site. And you’ll want to test your forms and links to ensure that everything is working as planned. We will also be here should you have questions about the mechanics of the site, your domain, hosting, and email accounts.

Step 7: Ongoing Maintenance

If your busy schedule makes it difficult for you to update or post new content on your webste, we offer ongoing maintenace plans to handle this as well. Let us know what you want updated, or send us a post you want to add and we'll do the leg work for you, all within one business day! Please contact us for the different maintenance plans available.
